Batter or Dough's Waffles

I love waffles. They're crisp on the outside and fluffy or dense or chewy on the inside. None of that plain ol' pancake flat-tasting batter which doesn't even have any texture unless you add something to it. Waffles, on its own, are delicious and filling. Pancakes are like the... waffle-lite version of waffles.

I do like pancakes, but waffles are far superior.

So! To the best waffle in town.

Nutella waffle.

Batter or Dough's waffle may look plain to the eye (save for the drizzle of Nutella), but don't let your eyes deceive you. The texture of this waffle is incredible: it has a chewy interior and a crisp exterior as a proper waffle should be, but it also has a cornflake-like mouthfeel to it. That's what makes it stand out from other waffles.

Whenever I drop by Batter or Dough, it's almost always empty. That concerns me. I suppose people don't see the appeal of waffles that much, which is a shame. Look at all those square pockets ready to contain the syrup/jam/buttery goodness your heart desires! It's also sweeter (and therefore, better)! It has a crunchy exterior and a chewy interior! Stop living a mediocre life eating flat (but fluffy) pancakes and start living a life with good food.

You might say this waffle is too expensive. It's not. The quality of this waffle costs 200+ in other cafes. Batter or Dough is cheaper than that.

Don't let this shop flop. (So I can eat here again.)

EDIT [13 Aug 2018]: You let this shop flop! They're closing branch in SM North on August 21 and moving to Ortigas on god knows when. :( Enjoy while it's still there.
